Our PR and marketing team are responsible for overseeing social media feeds and publicity in the run up to the drive and streaming progress during and after the trip. This will include daily updates on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube, in addition to press, radio and TV coverage.  We will be attending events and conferences in the run up and making appearances on local TV and radio stations, in which sponsors can feature, throughout the challenge.

Our flights will feature at the start and finish of our adventure to drive around the coastline of Australia in an electric car.

Provision of electric vehicle

Key to this project is the provision of the electric vehicle in which the drive around the coastline of Australia will take place. Reliable and capable of completing the long journey, this vehicle is as important to the project as the solar cell panels used for off-grid charging.

Mechanics sponsor

On our drive around Australia’s coastline we will travel further in two months than most drivers do in a year, including along extended stretches off-grid. Mechanic support will potentially play a crucial role in helping us complete our journey as planned.

​The efficiency and performance of the portable solar cell panels used to charge the electric car off-grid on the trip will be monitored to help further develop this innovative sustainable energy generation product.
